DIE DESIGN & MANUFACTURING
AREXCO has an in house die design & manufacturing facility that was first established in 2004. Since then it has grown steadily and built an excellent reputation for itself by focusing on customer needs and putting the emphasis on quality and service. As part of the company's Total Quality Management initiative and ongoing ambitions towards Manufacturing Excellence we are one of the first extrusion companies in the U.A.E. to have expanded our Quality Management System
ISO 9001:2000 to include die design, development & Manufacturing.
AREXCO has highly qualified technical staff with over 25 years experience in the designing and manufacturing of extrusion dies. We have experience designers who are working closely with the customers to develop manufacturing solutions to their exact requirements. Years of process development have culminated in AREXCO being able to cost-effectively manufacturer high precision tools.
We have the capability to fully design and manufacture dies of up to 400 mm diameter. We also manufacture supporting extrusion tooling such as dummy blocks, stems, Die Ring, Bolsters, pressure plates, rings, shear blades, etc.
All of our dies are designed utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD & Uni-graphic) software. Our designs are based on years of accumulated experience as well as feedback from our customers. Even the complex multi Mandrel hollow dies are now common for us. Our CAD/CAM computer systems are networked together with our CNC machines, giving a seamless flow of information, precision, and repeatability.
We use the latest CNC technology as well as conventional machining techniques to manufacture our dies. All of our tool paths used on the CNC milling stations are programmed using the latest CAM software. Our production equipment includes CNC EDM, wire EDM, CNC machining centers as well as manual milling machines, lathes, drill presses, Surface grinders, etc. We also have complete facilities for Heat treating and Nitriding processes.
In order to maintain the quality of the tooling we buy high quality die steel from ASSAB Steel, Sweden. We also use high quality cutting materials from reputed suppliers to ensure a fine quality of finished job.
Our high quality tooling has helped to build our reputation of reliability and speed. We intend to keep it that way.
